Invictus Karate

Formerly know as Ystrad Rhondda Shotokan Karate, we renamed Invictus Karate. We are a part of the Welsh Karate Alliance and affiliated the to the Welsh Karate Governing Body.
We understand that starting a new sport can be intimidating, particularly something like karate, so our friendly instructor and club secretary are trained to put you at ease. When you join one of our club our instructors will work with you to establish your current level of skill and physical fitness, then they’ll suggest adaptations to moves to ensure that you’re getting a great workout and perfecting your technique. Most of all, though, our teaching put's the emphasis on learning whilst also having fun.
